Lauka Vai in a custom color scheme, not the standard one.
Painting is very simple despite the fact that it can look quite impressive, but you will need an airbrush for this.
I used Ivory from Vallejo as a primer, just use any light-colored primer on which it will be easy to get full saturation of the first color.
The first color with which I covered the entire model is VGC Midnight Purple. Apply it until you get full color saturation of this paint. On a light base it may take 1-2 coats with an airbrush.
I then added VGC Lustful Purple to the Midnight Puple bit by bit, spraying from about 45 degrees, all the while reducing the angle as I added the lighter color.
Finally, I added more VGC Wolf Grey and applied it carefully, spraying only from the top with few exceptions so as not to hit the shadows.
When applying more colors, I tried to get smooth transitions and leave Midnight Purple in the shadow areas untouched. On her belly I didn’t even try for highlights, but left the whole thing exclusively in Midnight Purple.
In the end, I only applied a heavily thinned black oil wash over the entire body. Just enough to boost the shadows on the parts where the airbrush covered most of the area with the lightest colors and the torso wholly covered in Midnight purple.
The face is a separate issue. There I covered the whole thing back with Midnight Purple, and then with heavily thinned Wolf Grey I applied several coats until I got full coverage without trying for perfectly smooth color transitions. In the same way, I corrected individual elements on other parts of the model. For example, hands, paws. I covered the hair on the head with VGC Charcoal, and then layered by adding some Wolf Grey. The white strand was covered with VGC Stonewall Grey and I layered the same way with the addition of Wolf Grey.
I covered the membranes on the wings with Phtalo Blue oil varnish at the end, and then with a sponge stick dipped in turpentine, I removed it from the parts that should be the brightest.
The armor was very simple to do, it is VGC Night Blue to a full coverage, then a VGC Chainmail drybrush and finally a black oil wash.
The gold elements are simply AK Rusty Gold covered with black oil wash.
I painted the rags, of which there are few, with Midnight Purple, and then layered by mixing with Lustful Purple.
I painted the ruins with Stonewall Grey and then covered them with black oil wash. I covered the plants with VGC Charred Brown.
I made the earth by applying Vallejo Brown Earth texture, and then covered it with heavily thinned VGC Charcoal paint so that the original color of the compound would shine through.
Finally, I did an oil wash with Emerald Green and covered the lower part of the ruins with it and made individual spots on the base.
