It was a pure coincidence when I found out that my friends have started collecting and painting miniatures. I was a bit skeptical at first, before miniatures I tried linocut, painting on canvas but minis are what stuck with me for a long time.

From the start I enjoyed the process. Assembling, making bases, painting, planing and so I started to learn more and more. I’ve watched a lot of videos on painting, read a lot of articles and started learning about theory.

I’ve been practicing various techniques like layering, glazing, drybrush and more, I’ve been getting more and more supplies, paints, brushes, tools. With passing time I’ve decided, that in order to improve I need to paint more and so I started to paint for my friends. After a while I have noticed, that painting for others brings me much more joy, so It’s been decided, that it’s something I’d love to be my primary job.
